Merit Scholarships are awarded for 6 continuous years provided that recipients:

• achieve a minimum Cumulative Index (CI) of 3.10/4.00 by the completion of their first year at Deree and maintain this CI until the completion of 30 undergraduate academic credits (prior to the completion of the first year the CI must be at least 2.00/4.00). After the completion of the 30 undergraduate credits and until graduation, recipients must maintain a minimum CI of 3.20/4.00
• earn passing grade(s) in EAPP courses if they are under the English for Academic Purposes Program.
• register for successive Fall and Spring semesters for at least 2 courses per semester and maintain this course load throughout each semester.
• be in compliance with all College policies including the Student Conduct Code.

Merit Scholarships are awarded for 3 continuous years provided that the recipients:

• achieve a minimum CI of 3.10/4.00 after the completion of their first term (either semester or session) at Deree and a minimum CI of 3.20/4.00 after the completion of their second term (either semester or session). The minimum CI of 3.20/4.00 must be maintained until graduation.
• earn passing grade(s) in EAPP courses if they are under the English for Academic Purposes Program.
• register for successive Fall and Spring semesters for at least 1 course per semester and maintain this course load throughout each semester.
• be in compliance with all College policies including the Student Conduct Code.
