Nice to meet you! My name is Maritina, and I am a fourth-year student majoring in Shipping Management with a minor in HRM. During these years, I have worked as a student assistant at the Admissions office, while I am currently the Vice-President of the Maritime Transport & Logistics Society. Joining the Deree Ambassadors has been a wonderful experience for me so far. Representing the college by communicating its warm environment to prospective students and visitors is something I love to do. Student life at Deree offers countless opportunities that enrich students’ academic experience and are worth mentioning to everyone. My journey as an ambassador has taught me essential skills, such as leadership, communication, and professionalism; skills that will also help me in my professional career. What really makes a difference is being surrounded by an incredible team that continuously motivates me to get out of my comfort zone and explore new opportunities.

Greetings, my name is Pavlos Wagner and I am a second-year International Business Major here at Deree. I am half Greek and half German though I was born in Indonesia and I have been living in Greece since 2019. I joined the Deree Ambassadors to represent the college and to work closely with it as a whole, also as a continuation of my work in the Admissions office. This organization helped and taught me how to work as a team, effectively and efficiently in order to reach a common goal because, in the end, the college is being reflected. Of course, these experiences and lessons all come with smiles, happiness, and joy to be a part of.

Greetings everyone! My name is George Zoumpoulis, I am 22 years old, and currently studying MIS. At Deree, other than being a full-time student, I partake and volunteer in most events and initiatives taking place in college, as there is an opportunity to learn and grow everywhere in Deree. Respectfully, I am the President of the Deree Student Association, leading with the motto "to serve, not to be served", something that I learnt with the Ambassadors. Joining the Deree Ambassadors was the first step that allowed me to realize the potential our campus is offering, and allowed me to become part of a dynamic and diverse team of individuals, with goals, beliefs and ambitions. Our role is to sincerely contribute towards the flourishment of our college and establish meaningful and happy moments for everyone, especially students who visit our campus for the first time. Every time I am on duty I get back so much more in terms of new friendships and positive feelings! I could be nothing but grateful for being a member of this prosperous organization.

Greetings everyone! My name is Matina Dimitraki and I am studying Finance. After having work and studied at Deree, I can now attest with confidence that this institution provides us with the necessary knowledge, unique training and competitive edges in the domestic and international job market. For these reasons, I have built much internal pride for Deree and I want to represent it! The best way to do so was to join Deree Ambassadors. One of the fundamental aspects of being an Ambassador is to offer and assist new students by serving as a role model for them. As part of the Ambassadors team, I have the opportunity to practice my communication and interpersonal skills as well as learn how to express my best self. Although, the best part is that, through this team, I got to know such great individuals, my fellow ambassadors. For all the above, I feel honored to be part of the Ambassador family and represent Deree onwards and upwards.

Hello, my name is Erika Lego, I am 20 years old and I am an international student currently in my third year of studies, majoring in Biomedical Sciences at Deree. Due to the pandemic I was not able to experience the student life at Deree in my first year of studies so when things started to go back to normal I wanted to be an active member of Deree community. Being part of the Ambassadors Program has taught me that working in a friendly environment with amazing people around me can be primary when it comes to growing as an individual.

Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I am double majoring in Information Technology and Psychology. Being part of the Deree Ambassadors has allowed me to both grow as an individual in terms of developing my communication skills and learning how to work in a team, while also giving me the chance to offer to the Deree community and student life. It has been an incredible opportunity to meet a very diverse and hard-working group of people, who all aim to serve the student community to the greatest extent possible. It is a great honour to be part of this ambitious and determined organisation, and I am very glad to have the chance to inspire fellow students at the college.

Hello! I'm Anna Maria, and I am majoring in Cinema Studies, while also minoring in Information Technology. I have worked in several offices at Deree, each of which have taught me many lessons. As a senior, I must say I am loving the College, which is why I enjoy representing it. From the experience I have gotten by being an Ambassador, I have uncovered skills and traits I could never imagine. Deree has offered me a lot, and as an Ambassador, I wish to do the same - offer to the college and to new students. I am very proud to be part of this team, and to participate in all those great events through it.

Helloo! I’m Victoria Charalampidi, I am a Senior and I’m a Communications student minoring in International Relations. I’ve been a part of the Deree Ambassadors for three years now and it has been a very exciting journey. I have learnt new things and new skills such as the importance of time management, public speaking and organisation. It is amazing to be a part of this community because you always learn from older and newer ambassadors. Throughout the past three years, I met new people that I can now call my family. When we organise events, I represent my university and the values I’ve been taught. While giving tours around the campus, I pass my knowledge of the university’s history to new people, such as prospective students. As a social butterfly, it is one of the greatest parts of my college life to be able to interact with so many people and help them see my institution the same way I do.

Hello everyone, my name is Iliana Papadopoulou and I am a third year Biomedical sciences major. I was born in Greece and raised in South Africa, I moved back to Greece in 2019 and the experience has been lovely. I joined the Deree ambassadors because I felt that it must be an honor to work so tightly with the college and its beautiful community. The Deree ambassadors has taught me better teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Along with my peers we strive to represent the college as best we can while growing the Deree community to all who wish to join this great environment!

Hello! My name is Nefeli Alexandraki, I am 22 years old, majoring in Management Information Systems, with a minor in Economics. In addition to my studies, I work as a student assistant at the Office of Student Affairs and was elected as the Vice President of the Deree Student Association 2022-2023, serving as the bridge between the administration and the student body. Joining the Deree Ambassadors is a unique experience that gave me the opportunity to meet great people, my fellow Deree Ambassadors, but also socialize, master my communication skills, be present in all major events happening in our college, and gain the feeling of belonging in an amazing team! Through this path of experience, an individual becomes more productive and wiser! I would strongly recommend whoever is interested to join our Ambassadors family!

Hello! My name is Andronikos and I am majoring in Operations Management at the beginning of my 5th year of studies. I have been a Deree Ambassador for 3 years! Being an active member of various clubs and organizations, of governing member of the Management Society for the last 3 years, and a student assistant in many Deree offices, made me really learn the benefits of Deree Student Life. However, being an ambassador taught me how to serve and how to grow through a team (which for me it’s like a family) and how to express my best self. This organization gives me the opportunity to practice my communication, organizational, and managerial skills as I serve in different contexts and situations, and is also teaching me to become more productive on a daily basis.
