About the Library

The John S. Bailey Library, located at the Aghia Paraskevi campus of The American College of Greece, offers a modern and inviting environment for studying, researching, and socializing. Originally designed in 1973 and dedicated in 1975, the library underwent an expansion in 1995, resulting in a reconstructed building nearly double the original size. In 2008, it was renamed in honor of John S. Bailey, the College's 6th president. The library is a proud member of the AMICAL Consortium, the American Library Association, OCLC, and the National Network of Academic and Scientific Libraries.

The library offers a wide range of resources, including:

129,000 books and 316,000 ebooks
12 million academic articles and additional content from magazines and periodicals
1 million digital images
2,500 DVDs, videos, and CDs
Additionally, the library serves as the home for the ACG Archives and selected Special Collections.
